For 50 years, the Ford F-150 has defined what a truck can be—strong, capable, and unmistakably American. To mark this milestone, Automotive Concepts reimagined a legend.
Introducing the Black Label 5.0, a refined, limited-edition appearance package built for the 2025 SEMA PRO Cup Challenge. Designed and built in Minnesota, this F-150 isn’t a work truck. It’s our statement piece
The Inspiration Behind the Build
The Black Label 5.0 was born from heritage and redefined through vision. The “Black Label” name reflects exclusivity and modern sophistication. The “5.0” nods to the 5.0L Coyote V8 engine and the truck’s role in celebrating the F-150’s golden anniversary.
More than a trim package, this edition blends craftsmanship and storytelling. It’s about presence—not flash. From satin black accents to gold details woven throughout the design, every element was chosen to honor five decades of Ford excellence.
Designed with Intention: Our In-House Rendering Process
Before the first part was ordered, the Black Label 5.0 existed in photorealistic renderings.
Our in-house design process allowed us to:
- Collaborate early across departments
- Fine-tune visuals and finish details before production
- Create print-ready files for vinyl graphics and emblems
This approach ensured that every aesthetic choice—from panel alignment to material contrast—was intentional and production-ready.
Signature Styling: Where Toughness Meets Taste
What makes the Black Label 5.0 different isn’t excess. Its execution.
- Wider stance: 305-width tires on 22×10 wheels for confident footing
- Fender flares & aero upgrades: Bushwhacker flares, Aero Design front lip, hood scoop, cab and tailgate spoilers
- Custom paint: Jesse Zenda delivered factory-grade finishes across all aero components, brake calipers, and tow hooks
This visual identity is anchored by a distinctive graphics and emblem package, designed in-house and installed with precision. The satin frozen gold chrome vinyl from Avery Dennison were adds an elegant layer of contrast, subtly honoring the truck’s golden anniversary roots.
Elevated Interior: Bespoke Leather Meets Modern Innovation
Step inside, and the Black Label 5.0 continues to impress.
As one of Katzkin’s featured SEMA restylers, we incorporated their groundbreaking TekArt interior system:
- Two-tone black and light gray Katzkin leather
- Maze yellow stitching, piping, and embroidery
- TekArt large-perforation reveals a snakeskin print beneath the leather
This creates a “ghosted” visual effect that changes with light and angle—adding depth and luxury without distraction. Interior execution was led by Rick Bach, who also installed the upgraded sunroof. It’s comfort and class with a purpose.
